Wow its already well into November and we have even spotted a few whales! This is the perfect time to start making any Winter vacation plans. December through May are the peak whale watching months here in the islands. Our up close and personal experience is the perfect way to see these gentle giants. You will never be peering through strangers to catch a glimpse or a picture. The Island Star is a stunning sailing yacht available for all of your snorkeling and whale watching dreams. The Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary was created in 1992 to protect humpback whales and their habitat in Hawaii. The sanctuary lies within the relatively shallow warm waters surrounding the main Hawaiian Islands. Hawaii is one of the world’s most important humpback whale habitats. The waters between the islands that comprise Maui County are a safe respite from the vast deep ocean surrounding our islands.
